I made chocolate covered strawberries for our memorial day family party tomorrow. Not to brag, but they look delish!

I have been loving monogram pieces lately. On Bauble Bar this is actually a great price because I have seen these for much more. I may have to treat myself.

ZzzzZzzzz…

Today was my fourth day of work, and I am still SO tired. I hope that I get used to my new schedule soon because I am way to cranky to function at night. I hope it gets easier.

If any of you working girls know ways to boost energy in the office let me know…and I mean besides coffee and red bull. I need some tricks to stay energized! Please help!

What can I say…the real world makes me tired.

Cupcakes in the office today from the Buttercream Cupcake Truck!
Perks of my building being across from Love Park where Miss.Buttercream herself parks multiples times a week.
I love being back in Philly…even if it is just for the food.

Who knew Chocolate Chip Day was actually recognized? I didn’t until now, and I love it! In honor of this delicious day I am going to share the chocolate chip cookie recipe I ALWAYS make, and after trying out tons of different recipes it is by far the best! Here you go:
1/2 cup butter (2 sticks)
2 cups light brown sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
3 tbs. milk
4 cups flower
1 tsp. baking soda
1 24 oz. bag chocolate chips (I recommend Ghiradelli semi sweet:)
Cream butter and brown sugar together until smooth. WARNING: Make sure butter is at room temp. or the cookies will turn out totally wrong. Then, add the rest of the wet ingredients until well blended. Next, add the 4 cups of flower one by one, plus the baking soda. Lastly add the chocolate chips. Scoop the batter in 1 tbs. sized balls onto a greased cookie sheet, and bake at 325 degrees for about ten minutes. WARNING: Make sure to watch the cookies, and remove them from the oven when they turn the slightest bit golden- even if they seem doughy leave them on the cookie sheet to finish baking even though they are not in the oven. These cookies tend to dry out very fast if left in the oven for too long because there is a lot of flower in the dough.
Enjoy!
